24 AM Studios Welcomes Samantha Ruth Prabhu For Ponram’s Next

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has joined the sets of director Ponram’s next project which does not have a title as of yet. She will be sharing screen space with Sivakarthikeyan who is the male lead. According to reports, Samantha will play a bold and bubbly character in the film.

24 AM Studios welcomed the actress with a tweet, “@24AMSTUDIOS Welcomes @Samanthaprabhu2 to join shoot for our #ProductionNo4 wit @Siva_Kartikeyan @sooriofficial @ponramVVS”. Other cast members include Napolean, Simran, Lal and Soori. This will be the third time the director will be working with Sivakarthikeyan as they have previously teamed up for ‘Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam’ and ‘Rajini Murugan’.

It is being said that Samantha has learned the traditional martial art form, Silambam, as well. Imman will be composing the music for the film while Balasubramaniam will be behind the camera. The team is shooting for the film in Tenkasi, Madurai and Theni. They have planned to release the film in summer next year.
