70 Year-old Lead For Manikandan’s Next?

Director Manikandan recently wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film with hit machine Vijay Sethupathi and newbie Ritika Singh. There are great expectations from the talented trio and the movie buffs are eagerly waiting for the yet-to-be titled film. The movie is yet to hit the theatres and Manikandan has decided upon his next venture.

Reports suggest that the filmmaker has tiled his next as ‘Kadaisi Vivasaayi’ and will commence the shooting of the flick from November. A source close to the director provided slight insight on the project. He said, "As the title implies, the story revolves around the life of a farmer, and this film will have a 70-year-old man in the lead role”.

He further added that the Kaaka Muttai director is currently looking for an actor who matches the age requirement. The source revealed that Manikandan is also auditioning people with zero experience in acting. We will have to wait to see who bags this intriguing role in the film.
