Actor Bala Murali Mohan hangs himself

Tamil actor Murali Mohan, who was seen in many Tamil movies and advertisements, committed suicide by hanging himself on Wednesday night in his residence at Purasawalkam, Chennai. The reason of his death is yet to be known.

The 54 year-old actor was alone at his home when he took this brutal step. The body was found by his wife Sumathi, when she peeped into the house through the window after she failed to get any response for repeated knocks she made at the door.

According to the reports, there is no suicide note left behind by the Tamil actor. Police have started the investigation and as of now, the enquiry revealed that Mohan was watching football match at his sister’s house who lives on the ground floor of the same house. "He left midway saying he was going upstairs to sleep," an officer said during the investigation.

A family member reported that Mohan was depressed because of limited movies or TV shows offer. He has acted in movies like 'Boys' and 'Allithandha Vaanam' and TV shows like 'Vamsam' and 'Thendral'.
