Adhik Ravichandran Refutes Rumours Of Scraping Idea Of AAA’s Sequel

Director Adhik Ravichandran’s Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan was released on June 23, 2017. The film which was a romantic comedy starred Silambarasan, Shriya Saran and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles. It featured Simbu in triple role with Shriya and Tamannaah paired opposite his different roles.

Though the film had superstars, however, it failed to impress audience. Before the film’s release Adhik had showed his interest of making the film’s sequel with STR. However, after the movie’s release, rumours started doing rounds that the director has scraped the idea of sequel. But now, the director has refuted all the rumours and said that he plans to make the sequel.

“I was never aware of the claims that Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan 2 is never happening. People based on reviews and industry talks assumed it wouldn’t but we are in the pre-production stage for the movie. It is too soon to talk about it but we are planning Pongal 2018 release. The sequel will have another Simbu in a new getup and more characters to make it interesting,” said Ravichandran.
