    Aishwarya Rajinikanth Dhanush, who is a film director and classical dancer, has taken a step towards getting recognition to the life-threatening work done by the stuntmen in the Indian film industry. Rajinikanth’s daughter has requested Information and Broadcasting Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu to introduce Stunt Choreography Category in National Film Awards. She mentioned about this meeting on her twitter handle.

    Aishwaryaa tweeted “Met honourable minister M. Venkaiah Naidu sir and submitted a request letter to include stunt choreography category in national awards #CinemaVeeran,” She added, “He was very impressed. Thank you sir for giving me time.”

    Meanwhile, her husband Dhanush lauded her step by tweeting: “Aishwaryaa, very well done. Hope it happens.” Earlier, Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar also surfaced the need of insurance for the stunt choreographers who risk their life for the films. Apparently, it is the need of the hour to acknowledge the efforts of these artists as well.
