Ajith’s Vedhalam: Entire Distribution Rights Sold!

The shooting of Ajith starrer Vedhalam hasn’t completed as yet and producer A.M. Ratnam has already sold the distribution rights of the flick almost everywhere. From Tamil Nadu to United States, the deal for the rights has been clinched for a huge price. Vedhalam is written and directed by Siva.

As per the latest reports, the distribution rights of Tamil action masala in Karanataka have been snapped by Gokulraj and in Kerela by K.G.Nair. MM Media, which previously distributed films such as Arrambam and Kaththi, has claimed the rights for Vedhalam in the US. In other overseas market, the film will be released by Ayngaran International.

Vendhalam stars Ajith, Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Menon, Soori, Ashwin Kakamanu and Kabir Singh in prominent roles. After singing ‘Yendi Yendi’ in Puli, Shruti has reportedly crooned a solo number for this movie as well. The music of the film is given by Anirudh Ravichander. While the audio release of the flick is expected in mid-October, the movie is slated to hit the theatres around Deepawali.
