Anupama Parameshwaran Replaces Shamili In Dhanush’s ‘Kodi’

The shooting of Dhanush’s forthcoming film ‘Kodi’ commenced early last month. The film featured Trisha Krishnan and Shamili as female leads. But now one of the female leads has walked out of the film and has been replaced by a Mollywood beauty.

According to reports, Shamili walked out of the project due to dates related problem. A source close to the film’s unit revealed, "Shamili exited the project due to some date issues. The makers have brought Anupama as her replacement and she's expected to join the sets next week". Director R. S. Durai Senthilkumar has replaced the actress with Premam fame Anupama Parameshwaran.

Shamili did shoot for the first schedule but could not join the film for the next schedule as she is already busy with two more projects. Dhanush will be playing dual roles in the flick which has music by Santhosh Narayanan. The Maari actor will be seen sporting a thick beard in the political thriller film.
