Anushka Shetty Talks About Bhaagamathie And Her Link Up With Prabhas

After the massive success of Baahubali -The Conclusion, Anushka Shetty will be seen in a women-centric film Bhaagamathie. She would be essaying the role of an IAS officer, Sanjana in the film. Anushka, who is looking stunning after losing several kilos, has said that playing Sanjana was very challenging for her.

Talking about Bhaagamathie, Shetty said, “Some people have misconstrued Bhaagamathie as a ghost movie with a reincarnation theme. But it is not. She is a fictitious character in a contemporary thriller and I play IAS officer Sanjana, one of the most thought-provoking characters I have done. There’s plenty of scope for performance and my thanks to director Ashok garu who waited for me with the script from 2102.”

 There were rumours that she would be playing a dual role in the flick. However, the 36-year-old has denied all the rumours, but has said that her character will have many dimensions. Talking about her relationship with Prabhas , she said, “We are just very good friends. And there’s nothing between Prabhas and me except friendship. We are definitely not getting married.”
