Athulya To Star In ‘Suttu Pidikka Utharavu’

Kollywood actress Athulya received tons of praises for her role in the movie Kadhal Kan Kattudhe. The actress will be next seen in the movie titled as ‘Yemaali’. The actress has been receiving several movie offers.

She has also been roped in for another movie titled as ‘Suttu Pidikka Utharavu’, which is helmed by Ramprakash Rayappa. The movie also stars Mysskin, Suseenthiran and Vikranth in the lead roles. Rregarding the actress’s role the filmmaker was quoted as saying, “She plays a girl hailing from a middle-class background. It is a very bold character. She gets into tough situations and struggles to survive. Actresses like Nayanthara and Anushka have been doing strong female-oriented roles only now. But for Athulya, a role like this has come in the beginning of her career. A lot of women can connect with her role”.

He further added, “We auditioned a couple of actresses, but she performed very well in her audition”. On being asked about the movie, Athulya said, “I am very excited to be sharing screen space with Kollywood biggies in the film. I don't play anyone's love interest and the film will revolve around the four characters. I will begin shooting for my portions from the month of February in Coimbatore”.
