Bharathiraja To Play A Prominent Role In ‘Seethakaathi’

‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’ director Balaji Tharaneetharan has teamed up with Vijay Sethupathi for the upcoming drama ‘Seethakaathi’. The movie is currently underway and the latest development, as per the reports, is that the veteran director Bharathiraja has landed a role in the film.

At the teaser launch of his upcoming film ‘Om’, Bharathiraja revealed that he will be seen playing a pivotal in the Vijay Sethupathi-starrer. To our surprise, the film is also featuring another veteran director J Mahendran in an important role. The film has ‘Veedu’ fame Archana playing Vijay Sethupathi’s wife, while actresses Parvatii Nair, Remya Nambeesan and Gayathrie will be seen in cameos.

Produced by Passion Studios, the film has Govind Menon to handle the music department. The makers still haven’t locked the release date of ‘Seethakaathi’ yet. If we go by the reports, Vijay Sethupathi is said to play dual roles in the movie. ‘Seethakaathi’ is expected to hit the theatres sometime later this year.
