‘Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings’ Starts Rolling

Chennai, April 11 -- A week back, director Venkat Prabhu launched ‘Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings’. Reports suggested that the film will go on floors on April 11. The reports have turned out to be true and the shoot for the film commenced today.

The director along with the cast which includes Jai, Shiva, Vaibav, Vijay Vasanth, Premji Amaran, Nithin Sathya, Ajay Raj, Aravind Aakash and Vijayalakshmi started shooting for the flick. The story of the sequel will portray the transition of young boys into men. Probably, this time the flick will focus on other aspects of their lives.

Reposts suggest that the shoot will go on for 10 days in Chennai. After wrapping up the Chennai schedule, the team will head to Courtallam-Tenkasi side, where the schedule is expected to go on for a month. The venture is being bankrolled under Black Ticket Company banner. Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose music for the sports comedy film. Hopefully, this time too, the team will manage to create a masterpiece.
