Chiranjeevi’s Next to be Tribute to Telugu Freedom Fighter

Superstar Chiranjeevi made a fantastic comeback with ‘Khaidi No. 150’ earlier this year. The movie was the remake of Tamil film ‘Kaththi’, which released in 2014. Now, after the success of his comeback movie, Chiranjeevi is ready for his next project and this time he has decided to make a movie on the life and times of Telugu freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Interestingly, the flick might get made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil.

A source close to the development has revealed some information about the venture. “Discussions are going on now. Since it is the story of a freedom fighter who hasn’t been written about a great deal, the makers felt it would be a great story to tell. His legacy has remained within the Telugu people and the idea is to take it to a larger audience,” divulged the source. Currently, the project is in pre-production phase.

Moreover, there are possibilities that a Hindi version of the flick is also possible at some later time. Actor Ram Charan will be bankrolling while Surender Reddy is going to direct the film.
