Composer Duo Vivek And Mervin To Score Tunes For Prabhudeva’s ‘Gulebakavali’

Director S Kalyan is busy preparing for his next directorial venture ‘Gulebakavali’ which will star Prabhudeva and Hansika in the lead. And now we have heard that Kalyan has roped in composer duo Vivek and Mervin to provide music score for the film. Vivek and Mervin earned fame after composing for ‘Vadacurry’, ‘Pugaz’h and the recently-released ‘Dora’.

 “Dora gave us a good reach and we were approached for Gulebakavali immediately. One of the prime reasons to do the film was Prabhudeva. Being 90s kids, Mervin and I grew up watching his dancing skills. We also make sure we select those projects in which our music would be enhanced by the actors,” said Vivek.

He further added that Prabhudeva was very elated when he met them and liked their previous two songs, a peppy love ballad and hardcore electro folk, that they had composed. Since ‘Gulebakavali’ is touted to be commercial comedy, therefore it will have a mix of genres. The flick will have four songs which would be peppy.
