C.V. Kumar Brings Ben Hur In Tamil

Popular Hollywood flick, Ben Hur starring Jack Huston will be released in Kollywood too. C.V. Kumar has bought the rights for the Tamil version, who successfully produced acclaimed movies, such as Pizza, Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum, Indru Netru Naalai and Iraivi.

A modern remake on a high octane version is releasing today worldwide. The movie also features Morgan Freeman, where the movie is being directed by Timur Bekmambetov. Other important members of the cast include Toby Kebbell, Rodrigo Santoro, Nazanin Boniadi and Ayelet Zurer.

It’s been released in record number of theatres in Tamil Nadu and is expected to be a huge hit among fans. He is also directing his next production, Mayavan, starring Sudeep Krishan and Lavanya.
