Debutant Vijay’s Revelations Makes it to Busan Film Festival 2016

Vijay Jayapal’s Revelations has been chosen for screening at prestigious Busan Film Festival 2016. However, this will be the only Kollywood flick to have made the cut, this year. The movie will be showcased under ‘A Window On Asian Cinema’ category, which will also be the official world premiere.

"I have always been passionate about films and filmmaking. But, I don't come from a film family; neither did I go to a film school nor did I assist any director. I did my MBA and worked as an HR executive for banking firms. I began my film career by making short films, some of which made it to the festivals, too. This is my first feature film. I'm glad that from among 16 films chosen from India, ours is the only Tamil film to have been selected", said debutant Jayapal.

The cast of the flick includes Chethan, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, Anantharaman Karthik and Arpita Banerjee in the main roles. Talking about the movie, he revealed that the movie explores guilt, redemption and female sexuality in the context of an Indian marriage.
