Dhanush Makes Official Announcement For Vellai Illa Pattadhaari 2

Actor Dhanush has officially made the announcement on being part of Vellai Illa Pattadhaari sequel. The Kodi star said that it will be working with his sister-in-law, Soundarya Rajinikanth, who would direct the movie. Velai Illa Pattadhaari came in year 2014 and was directed by Velraj and music from Anirudh.

Soundarya Rajinikanth has previously directed Rajinikanth starrer animated film, Kochadaiyaan. Now, the flick will be the Kolaveri Di singer’s 33rd, and Anirudh will come again for this project. It will also have Sean Roldan, joining the music camp.

It is being jointly produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu of V Creations and Dhanush's own production house Wunderbar Films. Interestingly, lead actor Dhanush has written the story and dialogues himself. The actor is also busy shooting for his directorial debut Power Paandi, with Rajkiran as lead actor. It is also touted that Dhanush will play a cameo in the movie as well.
