Dhanush To Re-Unite With This Actress After 13 Years

Exceptionally talented actor Dhanush is soon going to share screen with an actress, with whom he worked over 13-years ago. Dhanush is making his directorial debut with a flick, ‘Power Pindi’. As per the reports, Dhanush has booked Chaya Singh to play a significant role in the drama entertainer that also features Nadhiya, Prasanna and Rajkiran.

Dhanush had earlier worked with Chaya in 2003 in a romantic comedy film ‘Thiruda Thirudi’. Chaya told Deccan Chronicle, “Thiruda Thirudi’s director Subramaniyam Siva, who is working on Power Pandi, referred me to Dhanush. Later we all met, and Dhanush agreed that I fit the role. I won’t be seen throughout the film though. It’s a simple and sweet role!”

She further added, “I never felt that I was working with a first-time director. Dhanush is child-like with the kids on the sets. When the actor is also a director, the work is a lot easier as he knows what he wants. I will resume shooting by the end of December.” ‘Thiruda Thirudi’ was Chaya’s maiden Kollywood film and since then she has come a long way. It must be really exciting to watch the duo again on big screen after 13 years.
