Dhanush’s Thanga Magan Release Around The Corner

Dhanush’s upcoming film Thanga Magan will be released amidst the trials of the Chennai floods. The movie has been directed by Velraj who has previously worked with Dhanush in Raghuvaran B.Tech. The actor is currently busy with the Chennai flood relief campaign and recently donated Rs. 5 lakh for the fund.

Plagued with the question, Will anyone watch the film amidst the Chennai crisis?, the producers of the film N Venkatesh and N Ravikanth stated, “Dhanush is not just popular in Chennai, but across the country. The combination of Velraj and Dhanush worked wonders at the box office during Raghuvaran B.Tech and we expect it to continue this time around as well. The film has action, drama, emotions and just about everything in it to keep the viewers interested”.

The audio for the film has been scored by Anirudh Ravi Chander. The movie will be released on December 18 after an audio launch on December 11. The Telugu version of the film will be titled Nava Manmadhudu and will feature Samantha and Amy Jackson, alongside Dhanush.
