Dhanush’s Next Production Venture To Star Vijay TV fame Dheena

Actor Dhanush is coming up with his next production venture titled ‘Ajith from Aruppukottai'. Vijay TV fame Dheena has been roped in to play the lead role. The movie is a Tamil remake of Malayalam film Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan which released in 2016 and starred Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Prayaga Martin and Lijo Mol Jose.

Nadirshah who directed the Malayalam version will helm the remake also. The director confirmed about the same on his Facebook page. The team is currently shooting for the flick in Pollachi. Comedian Dharmajan Bolghatty who played the hero's friend in the original flick will reprise the same role in Tamil remake.

This is the second time that Dheena will be working with Dhanush. He also worked with him in Pa Pandi which released last year and received positive reviews. While the movie was the Tamil debut of Dheena, it marked the directorial debut of Dhanush. Apart from directing, Dhanush also produced the flick.
