Director Atlee To Don Producer’s Hat

Director Atlee impressed the audiences with his debut film ‘Raja Rani’. The film did a great business at the box office and also received positive reviews from the critics. The director currently awaits the release of his next film ‘Theri’ starring Vijay. Before the release of the film, which is currently in its post-production stages, people have started talking about Atlee’s next film.

Speculations are rife that he will be donning producer’s hat for a film which will be co-produced by Fox Star. Rumour mills are churning that the flick will feature Jiiva along with Sri Divya. It is also being said that the film will be helmed by one of Kamal Haasan’s assistant and this will be his directorial debut.

Reportedly, Sathyan Sooryan, cinematographer of Nayantara’s hit film ‘Maya’, will be appointed as cinematographer for this film as well. Reports suggest that a renowned music director will be roped in for the venture. The shooing of the film is expected to begin this week.
