Director Kalanjiyam turns hostile against actress Anjali

First it was actress Anjali who blamed director Kalanjiyam for alleged harassment and then she even failed to turn up for his filmOor Suttri Puranam’sshoot on April 24. Now it’s the director’s turn to come out harsh on the actress and he has planned to approach film unions in South to take stringent action against Anjali.

Kalanjiyam complained, "Anjali has already shot for the film for 15 days in March and we were supposed to begin the second schedule yesterday. However, she did not turn up. Since this is a heroine-centric film, I cannot shoot scenes without her, and so, I have cancelled the shoot. I have tried reaching her but she continues to remain inaccessible."

The director, who has invested 40 lakhs on the film, also talked about his plans to lodge a complaint against the actress, "I do not want to file a case in the court straight away as we have various bodies in the industry to protect filmmakers. I will be lodging a complaint with the Tamil Film Producers' Council, the Director's Union and the NadigarSangam and request them to take appropriate action.” Though, the actress was available last week forBol Bachchan’sremake shoot withVenkatesh.
