Director Says Suriya’s ‘24’ Will Test Audiences’ Intelligence

A week back the trailer of Suriya’s upcoming film ‘24’ was unveiled by the makers. Since then the fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of the film and they are curious to see the actor in triple roles for the first time. The intelligence of the moviegoers will be tested in this film.

Vikram Kumar, the director of the flick said that it is an intelligent film and it will test the audiences’ intelligence. He said, "It is 2016, and still we are making `so called' action films with same-old gangsters and done-to-death, larger-than-life hero characterisation. I feel it's high time we move out of that groove, and make movies that incorporate all emotions, and the expected commercial elements. 24 has slapstick scenes, though I consider it to be an intelligent film. One should be very attentive while watching the movie, I have tried to test the intelligence of audience, keeping commercial expectations in mind”.

He added that the science fiction thriller will give a novel like experience to the audiences. It will be packed with twists, drama, surprises and emotions. The film will hit the theater screens on May 6.
