Dubsmash Video Lands Varsha Bollamma Her Next Movie

Well, this may sound a little weird, but one can get a movie offer with their Dubsmash video. This is what exactly happened with Varsha Bollamma of Sathuran and Vetrivel. She has been brought in for Yaanum Theeyavan, after the director saw her in one of the videos of popular app.

"Prashanth (the director) saw these videos and was pretty impressed with it. I play a happy-go-lucky girl. The film is a romantic thriller and the story delves into the life of the couple, who are in distress. Though it is a fun role, the second half will have a lot of emotional scenes”, Varsha said.

The actress also revealed that she didn’t use glycerine and did all the trying sequences naturally. When asked about how she feels about speaking Tamil, she said, "I was always interested in films, and I am glad that I got to make my film debut in Kollywood. I learnt to read and write Tamil in matter of 10 days”. Varsha is currently working on a Tami-Kannada bilingual, which is a horror film centring five friends.
