Elections For Nadigar Sangam Heating Up

The Pandavar Ani team recently spoke with the press on their campaign for the elections for Nadigar Sangam. The team was formed by actor Vishal, Nasser, Karthi, Ponvannan and Karunas. Kamal Haasan also supported the team recently which brought Pandavar Ani under accusations of being influenced by him.

Vishal said, “We would like all the members of the sangam to vote on the 18th October. We are all fighting for a single cause. We are only spending our money for the sangam and Karthi is a very responsible treasurer who is accounting every single penny that we spend”. He added that the team is planning to convert sangam into a corporate unit with only educated artists.

Sarathkumar is the current president of the South Indian Film Artistes' Association. He accused the Pandavar Ani team of listening to Kamal Haasan to which Nasser responded by stating that they are all independent willed people and are capable of thinking and acting for themselves. Nasser, Karthi, Vadivelu, Kovai Sarala, Kutty Padmini, Vikranth, Sangeetha and others also attended the meet.
