‘Enthiran 2’ May Not Be Launched On Rajinikanth’s Birthday

Yesterday it was reported that the makers of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Kabali’ are planning to release two new posters on the superstar’s birthday on December 12. Also, it was reported that the makers of ‘Enthiran 2’ will be launching the film on the birthday of the Lingaa actor. But now there may be some change in plans.

According to reports, due to the heavy rainfall Chennai is facing this winter, the launch date of director Shankar’s ‘Enthiran 2’ may be pushed back. Rain has created chaos in the state and has also postponed Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Rajini Murugan’ once again. Earlier, sources close to the development of the project revealed the launch plans of the flick. Reportedly, the shoot would commence at a massive set erected outside Chennai with a formal pooja.

However, there are chances that the sequel to the hit 2010 sci-fi will be launched on December 12. Currently Rajinikanth s in US along with Shankar for makeup test. Reportedly, the film has a huge budget of Rs. 250 crore and its launch date may be pushed back to December 18.
