‘Enthiran’ Core Member Retained For Sequel

Rajinikanth starrer ‘Enthiran’ proved out to be a mega blockbuster in 2010. The movie did a great business at the box office and impressed the audiences with its spectacular VFX. Madhan Karky, who played a key role in the success of the flick, has been retained for its sequel.

Karky would be contributing with technical inputs, and he would also work on the lyrics and dialogues of the second instalment of the super hit franchise. Currently, the flick is in pre-productions stages. It is expected to go on floors by the end of this year, once the Kochadaiiyaan actor is done shooting for ‘Kabali’.

Speculations were rife that Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone would be playing the lead actress in the S. Shankar directorial. But the actress thrashed the reports and made it clear that she has not been approached for the second part. The project will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
