The post production of the upcoming commercial entertainer Masala Padam is going at a fast pace. The flick is directed by renowned cinematographer Laxman Kumar. Laxman’s debut directorial stars Shiva, Bobby Simha, Gaurav and Lakshmi Devy.

Talking about the characters, Laxman said, "There are three main characters in this film and all three of them play the role of audience. When a film hits the screens, the feedback will differ in A, B and C centre. A film cannot satisfy audiences in all the centres. I have written a story based on this”.

He added, “Simha plays a guy from C group of audience, Shiva plays a guy from B centre and Gaurav from A. How these three guys respond to a film forms the crux of the story. We have shot the entire film in Chennai”.
