First Look For Vijay, Movie Release For Ajith

Kollywood legends Vijay and Ajith went head to head 12 years ago when their films Thirumalai and Anjaneya released on Diwali. Since then, the actors have had several movie releases on the same day but not on Diwali. What makes this Diwali more special is the release of Ajith’s Vedalam, as well as the release of a first look for Vijay 59.

The first look is expected to release the official title for Vijay 59. It is also reported that 70 percent of the filming has been completed. Vijay and Samantha recently shot one of the songs in the film. The shoot is being aimed for completion by the first week of January. The team of Vijay 59 are looking at a summer 2016 release.

Ajith’s Vedalam will be a tamil action film which will star Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Menon, Ashwin Kakumanu and Soori, along with others. The movie is directed by Siva and produced by S. Aishwarya. Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music for the film.
