Hansika to wield sword in Vijay58

Actress Hansika Motwani was recently mastering the techniques of sword fighting for her upcoming film which is tentatively named Vijay58. The much anticipated film will showcase Hansika in a completely different avatar. The actress will be playing the role of a warrior princess and we hear that she'll be seen as Sridevi's daughter in this adventure fantasy film. Interestingly, Hansika will be seen essaying some thrilling action sequences in the Vijay starrer film.

"When I first held up the sword, it was scary as it was hefty as well as sharp. When I first started swinging the sword my hands got cramps and my wrists began to ache. Then, a trainer from Hong Kong joined us and he showed me correct technique," says Hansika who recalls her rigorous training stint. 

"During the shoot, I received a couple of blows and even my hands and fingers were bruised. I did a few hand and finger exercises like, a gel exercise ball, etc., to steady my arm," adds the actress with a laugh. 

"But it was all worth it and the scenes have been shot beautifully. It was a fantastic experience," shares Hansika.
