Here’s How Vijay Felt About Thala’s Mankatha

We all know that though Vijay and Ajith are Kollywood rivals, but at the same time great friends as well. He loved the Mankatha and even said on record that he would have played the role of Arjun if it was offered to him. Now, in a recent interview director Venkat Prabhu revealed little more about how Vijay was moved by Mankatha.

"Thalapathy was very happy after watching Mankatha. He called us for a dinner at his home. We two and him only three of us were there. We had a nice time. His wife cooked food for us. First, I went alone. He asked why Premji did not come. He said his kids want to meet Premji. I immediately made him come. His son Sanjay and daughter took photographs with him and went to sleep only after that. He was very open. He gave many advices to Premji to improve as an actor”, said Venkat Prabhu.

Vijay advised Premji to work beyond movies made by Venkat. He even joked that Premji should not make film with him as he was a ‘Thala’s man’. Vijay will next be seen in Bairava, which is being directed by Bharathan and would come next year.
