Here’s Why Vettavalam Villagers Considered Venkada Subbramani Mic Testing 1...2...3 Team Lucky?

After making intense movies like Thagappansami, Murugesh Bharathi, who has served as a co-director to filmmaker Hari, is coming up with a movie Venkada Subbramani Mic Testing 1...2...3.  The director has high hopes from the flick as it is close to his heart. The film stars debutant actor Roshan who would be romancing Telugu actress Harshitha Panwar.

"The story is a reflection of today's society and issues plaguing it. We've touched upon some serious topics and hope that people change for the better after watching out film," said Murugesh. He added, "The movie, which has Roshan in the lead, is made in an Iranian template — narrating the lifestyle of people in a realistic way. The narration will be similar to how movies like Mullum Malarum, Kizhakku Cheemayile and Thanneer Thanneer were."

The movie will portray Roshan as a youngster who works as a mic-set tester. Well, before entering in films, Mukesh worked as a mic tester. The team shot for the movie in Thiruvannamalai. Talking about the place, the director said, "We filmed in Vettavalam village in Thiruvannamalai. The place has beautiful, uncut rocks. Interestingly, every day before we left for the location, it would start drizzling. I'd be worried and kept praying that rain shouldn't disturb our schedule. And as luck would have it, it would start pouring only after we finished the day's shooting. The villagers told us that it hadn't rained like this in the last three years and they considered us lucky for them.”
