Hollywood Veteran Al Pacino For Dhanush’s Flick?

If everything goes well, Kollywood fans may see Hollywood legend Al Pacino acting in one of their movies. As per the latest speculations, Karthik Subbaraj and Dhanush are approaching The Godfather for the untitled flick. However, the makers wanted Morgan Freeman initially, but the deal fell off in its early stage.

"The makers of the film wanted a Hollywood actor. They have approached Al Pacino to play the part, and are negotiating the dates and other details. We are yet to know if he will be finalised — guess a formal announcement will be made soon”, said a close source.  

It is also being said that the major portion will be shot in the U.S., which will make it easier for the Hollywood star to play his part. The 76-year old actor was recently seen in a drama thriller Misconduct. Talking back about the Kollywood project, Karthik and Dhanush will team up first time for any project.
