Horror Thriller Pottu Granted U/A Certificate

Actor Bharath is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Pottu which is helmed by Vadivudayan. Said to be a horror thriller, the film is set against the backdrop of a medical college. Namitha, Iniya and Srushti Dange will be the three female leads in the movie.

Namitha will be essaying the negative role of that of a witch, attempting to do something which has been earlier portrayed only by male actors. She will play an Aghori and has undergone an image makeover for the role. Iniya will be playing the titular character and will be paired opposite Bharath.

Bharath will don different looks in the flick. This is the first time that the actor is experimenting with a horror genre. Earlier, in an interview, Bharath said that he had a great time shooting for the film. Shalom Studios have bankrolled the movie. According to sources, the movie was earlier given an ‘A’ certificate because of its horror content. Later, after makers applied to the revising committee, they suggested to muting few words. Thereafter, the film was certified with U/A certificate with minor cuts.
