Is Baahubali’s Prabhas marrying the granddaughter of an industrialist?

The Baahubali franchise has catapulted popular Telugu actor Prabhas into superstardom. Naturally then, anything he does (or doesn’t do) makes news. And one of the rumours that has clung to him is about his marriage. The latest being that Prabhas aka Amarendra Baahubali is likely to marry the granddaughter of industrialist Bhupathi Raju, chairman of Raasi Cements.

The respective families are in talks to see if an alliance can come through, which is likely to take place in 2018, a Times of India report said.

“Prabhas is set to marry the granddaughter of an industrialist. The family of Bhupathi Raju, chairman of Raasi Cements is apparently in talks with Prabhas’s family for a possible alliance.” The report couldn’t independently be verified.

Prabhas had reportedly rejected close to 6,000 proposals to concentrate on Baahubali. Link-up rumours about the Baahubali couple, Prabhas and Anushka Shetty, have been doing the rounds for many years now. The pair have romanced each other onscreen in a number of hit films such as Mirchi and Billa prior to Baahubali.

Prabhas is currently holidaying in the US and is likely to return in June to begin shooting for Saaho, to be directed by Sujeeth. To be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, Saaho will be shot primarily in Mumbai.
