Jail Set Built For Dhanush’s Vada Chennai

Vetrimaaran’s much anticipated flick Vada Chennai is set to hit floors in the mid June. In this Dhanush will be seen playing pivotal character with Samantha and Andrea in female leads. The first leg of shoot will take place in Chennai itself, for which a Central jail has been built.

One of the sources said, “A huge set that resembles the Central jail has been erected in the city for the shoot. Some major portions of the first schedule will be canned on this set. This project was supposed to start last year, but because Vetrimaaran and Dhanush were busy with their prior commitments, they couldn't come together last year.”  

However, now Dhanush has given chunk of his dates to Vetri Maaran in order to work on this project, added source. Dhanush will be soon seen in Thodari and Kodi, which are in there post-production stage. Interestingly, the actor is also producing Kodi, which has Trisha Krishnan in lead.
