Jayam Ravi-Hansika Motwani, the villains in Lakshman's Romeo Juliet: The New Version

Fresh revelations have landed on the floor that lead stars in Lakshman's Romeo Juliet: The New Version, Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani, are villains in the film. This piece of news has been confirmed by the director himself. The film will undergo its next schedule from mid-June and some major sequences will be shot this time.

As told by the director, "There are no villains in the film, except for Ravi and Hansika. While Hansika is the villain in the first half, Ravi will be turning the bad guy in the next. They will be real meanies, yet have a love story brewing." A luxurious set has been created for the film’s shooting which did cost the film unit almost a crore. The film crew will also shoot a romantic song in Hawaii. The director also added, "We will also be shooting a kuthu number in a special set that has been constructed in the city.” He revealed further, "We recently shot a scene in which Ravi gets drunk, climbs onto the balcony of the house where Hansika stays, and tries to misbehave with her. It's an interesting scene and will be one of the highlights of the film." The director went on saying, "Jayam Ravi plays a guy who believes in the poetic romance of the bygone era, and Hansika plays a girl who wants safety and security in life. The film is about how two people with contrasting characters fall in love.”
