Jayam Ravi To Star In Ahmed's Directorial

Kollywood star Jayam Ravi is known to have starred in movie such as Bogan, Thani Oruvan and Romeo Juliet. The star will be teaming up with filmmaker Ahmed, who is known to have helmed movies such as Endrendrum Punnagai. According to news published on timesofindia.indiatimes.com, there was a rumour that the upcoming movie will be a remake of the Bollywood movie Baby .

On being asked about the same, the director said, “Not at all. My film with Ravi will be based on an original script. I'm currently working on the script and we will start shooting once it is firmed up”. It is being said that Jayam will be opting to shoot for an upcoming period fantasy movie titled as ‘Sangamithra’. But recently, Jayam’s spokesperson stated that the Ahmad directorial is the star’s first priority over any other project.

Also, Ahmad has state3d that the shooting of the movie may start in the month of April or May. The makers of the upcoming movie are currently finalising on the script.
