'Jeyam' Ravi To Become 'Thani Oruvan' Ravi

An action thriller film directed by Mohan Raja, featuring Jayam Ravi, Arvind Swamy and Nayantara in the lead roles, has set a trademark for Raja and Ravi. The actor was asked to be 'Thani Oruvan' Ravi from being 'Jeyam' Ravi. The actor then replied, “To me, 'Jeyam' is visiting card. It is the identity by which people recognise me. So I am not going to change from being 'Jeyam' Ravi. But 'Thani Oruvan' is the identity of who I am, etched like a tattoo in my heart, which will stay with me, defining who I am, until death”.

Speaking on Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, at the success meet of 'Thani Oruvan', Ravi said, "I am stunned to see how such a man, merely in his twenties, has doled out such intense and strong lyrics for the powerful songs in the album. Adhi is a prodigy". He was impressed by the determination of the artist. 

The actor further stated "I often get questioned which heroine I like, who I like to be playful with, and the likes. Although such questions unsettle me, I answer them, but in the hope that it is followed up with a serious question, which seldom happens. There is a 'Thani Oruvan' in me too, which I want to be taken notice of".
