'Jiivi': The Movie Is A Fantasy Suspense Thriller Which Talks A Lot About Theory Of Relativity

The shooting of the forthcoming Jiivi is in full swing and the entire team were working. Everything was in order and no artiste or crew member had to wait for even an extra minute. The movie is directed by the director-writer duo of VJ Gopinath and Babu Thamizh which stars Vetri (of 8 Thotakkal fame), Karunakaran, Mime Gopi, Rohini and Ashwini.

Talking about the movie, the director, “Jiivi means brilliance; we say arivu jiivi, right? This is my first film as a director and I can assure you that this will be a one-of-a-kind project in Kollywood”. On the other hand, Babu Thamizh says, “I have been writing scripts for a while now.Gopi and I have known each other for a long time. We both worked together as ADs for a couple of people in the industry. I wrote this script three years ago. At that time, I wanted to direct it. But having worked with Gopinath, I realised that he could do justice to this script. It is a fantasy suspense thriller and talks a lot about the theory of relativity. But this film will be both classy and commercial. It will appeal to audiences across all centres”.

The film has been shot in Chennai, Theni but the song sequences have been filmed in Puducherry. The movie is being bankrolled by producers M Vellapandian and Subramanian. Well, if things go well, we all will get an interesting story this time.
