K-Town to taste a Punjabi flavor

All the way from Punjab, Bhanu Shri Mehra who made her debut in south with Allu Arjun starrer ‘Varudu’ is all set to dread in kollywood. The actress had earlier worked in some Punjabi flicks as well. K-Town will now see a Punjabi Kudi in the industry.

"I didn't really have to audition as such, because the director had seen my work in Varudu and was satisfied with my performance", the actress shared with The Times of India. She also gave a little hint about the story of the film, "The film is a black comedy. Bharat plays a junkie who has hallucinations and the film is from his point of view".

The Aravind Sreedhar directorial will be captured in Chennai and Pondicherry. The 28-year-old will be sharing screen with Bharat and Premgi. Bhanu Shri will be playing a news reporter in the flick. The shooting is expected to start shortly.
