    Kamal Haasan honoured with special award at New York Film Festival

    One of the brightest actors of Indian film fraternity, superstar Kamal Haasan represented the industry at the prestigious New York Film Festival and was awarded at the event on behalf of the Indian cinema. The award was given away to the actor by Chris Brown, Executive Vice President,Conventions & Business Operations for the National Association of Broadcasters. The actor was spotted sporting a trimmed beard which is said to be one of his three looks in the upcomingVishwaroopam 2.

    Visual Effects Supervisor Tim McGovern took to his Facebook account, posting, "I was speaking on a Panel at NAB, in Vegas, with Indian Director Kamal Haasan, film actress Pooja Kumar, my VFX friends Jeff Kleiser and Frank Foster. Then later Kamal was honored with a special award from New York Festivals. It was an interesting and fun day. But I missed my good friend and the one behind this all coming together, Madhu Sudhanan, the VFX Supervisor ofVishwaroopam, Kamal's latest film."
