Kamal Haasan To Play Balram Naidu In His Next?

Speculations have been widespread that Kamal Haasan will revive one of his old characters in his upcoming yet-to-be titled trilingual comedy. As per the latest reports, the actor will essay the role of Balram Naidu, which he had played in 2008 Tamil action-comedy movie titled Dasavathaaram. However, nothing is confirmed as of now.

Quoting a source, a TOI report read, “Kamal will play Balram Naidu in his new film. Audiences will be introduced to his family for the first time. It's an out-and-out comedy flick interspersed with sporadic action sequences. The regular shooting will start from the second week of May”. The source added, “Most of the film will be shot in the US. The makers have hired international make-up crew to take care of Kamal's look in the film”.

Reportedly, Ramya Krishna will be seen playing the role of Kamal’s wife in the movie. Shruti Haasan is also a part of the project, playing the role of Kamal’s daughter. Saurabh Shukla is also playing a prominent role in the flick, which will be simultaneously shot in Tamil, Telugu as well as Hindi. The title of the film will reportedly be unveiled tomorrow.
