Kamal Haasan-Rajinikanth’s upcoming films to clash with Thala Ajith-Vijay’s projects next year?

Pongal 2014 is slated to face a huge box-office clash between Vijay’s Jilla and Thala Ajith’s Veeram, down South. Now, as latest reports reveal, Kamal Haasan's epic Vishwaroopam 2 and Rajinikanth’s much-awaited Kochadaiiyaan are also set to lock horns with the junior stars’ films next year.

Earlier Kamal’s Vishwaroopam 2 was supposed to open in November and Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan was said to be releasing in December. But now both the biggies have been postponed till 2014. Both the film legendaries will try to make it to the time of Pongal and compete with Ajith and Vijay’s films. It’s possible too that they may decide to give their juniors a relief and clash against each other during Republic Day. The camaraderie between Haasan and Rajinikanth is a very well-established fact among their fans and it’s highly speculated that Rajini may release his film in competition with Ajith and Vijay’s films during Pongal. In that case Haasan may release his Vishwaroopam 2 on January 26 worldwide including Tamil Nadu. Now only time will tell what’s in store for the Southern box-office during early 2014.
