Kamal Haasan, S.Shankar Teaming Up For Indian 2

Super star Kamal Haasan will be teaming up with director S.Shankar once again, for a sequel to their hit 1996 film ‘Indian’. The project will be produced by Dil Raju under his production banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. The production house shared the news through its Twitter handle, along with a photo of the trio.

“Delighted to be associated with two stalwarts of Indian Cinema @ikamalhaasan and @shankarshanmugh for the prestigious project #Indian2”, the post read. According to sources, the trio was also present on the sets of Bigg Boss , which is hosted by Kamal. The pic of the director, actor and producer is currently trending on social media.

The original film starred Manisha Koirala, Urmila Matondkar, Sukanya and Goundamani. It told the story of an old vigilante who is trying to fight corruption. This seems right up Kamal’s alley as the actor has been voicing against corruption for his political journey as well.
