    Kannada Actress Shraddha Srinath To Star In Mani Ratnam's 'Kaatru Veliyidai'

    If recent reports are to be trusted, actress Shraddha Srinath, who essayed the role of a crime journalist in director Pawan Kumar’s Kannada horror movie, ‘U Turn’, has bagged a cameo role in filmmaker Mani Ratnam's upcoming trilingual romantic drama, 'Kaatru Veliyidai'. Recently, the first look poster of the movie, the filming for which began in Ooty not much ago, was released. More information about when the young actress will shoot for the flick is yet to arrive.

    The movie features Karthi and Aditi Rao Hyadari in the lead roles. Sreekar Prasad is accountable for editing work and Sharmishta Roy will take care of the art direction. The title of the movie is inspired from a poem written by Tamil poet Chinnaswami Subramania Bharathi. The flick will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.

    Before 'Kaatru Veliyidai',  Shraddha will be seen opposite Mollywood star Nivin Paul in the Tamil remake of Rakshit Shetty’s much acclaimed Kannada crime-drama, 'Uludavaru Kandanthe'. Earlier in an interview, the charming lass shared that she is very thrilled to work with the ‘Premam’ star. “It was my dream to share screen space with him. The fangirl in me is refusing to calm down. It is still hard for me to believe the dream is coming true now. I am sure I will learn a lot from him”, stated Shraddha.

    Undoubtedly, the talented actress is being blessed with great opportunities at such a budding stage.
