Karthi Rubbishes Rumours of Turning into Producer

Grapevine is abuzz with rumours that Karthi has started his own production house, like his elder brother. The rumours further claim that the actor is producing Kashmora, which stars Karthi along with Nayanthara and Sridivya. But recently, Karthi has denied all the rumours.

Karhti said in a statement, “I worked as an assistant director to Mani Ratnam and became a hero. I have a dream to direct films but I have never thought of becoming a producer. ‘Kashmora’ is being produced by Prince Productions and it is not my production company as it is being rumoured”.

Many actors have started film production companies. Actor Suriya has also launched 2D Entertainments and his maiden production venture 36 Vayadhinile. Meanwhile, Karthi is busy shooting for Kashmora, which is directed by Gokul. Reportedly, the actor is playing double role in the fantasy entertainer film.
