Karthick Naren: Naadaga Medai Is Inspired By My Own Experiences

Filmmaker Karthick Naren, who had made his debut with the investigative thriller Dhuruvangal Padhinaaru has not taken any formal direction course. The 21-year-old is a self-taught genius, who is currently gearing up for another venture. Naren is wrapping up his next film Naragasooran and is all set to begin working on the third.

Moreover, the film Naragasooran stars Arvind Swamy in the lead role and is soon going to be ready for release. Karthick said, “My first two movies had different genres and this one is about our take on modern day society from the perspective of two youngsters. Actually, there are a lot of lead characters and what they discover in life for the first time. In a way, I can say the story is inspired by my own experiences and what I went through.”

Further, Naren’s third project has been tentatively titled Naadaga Medai and has an interesting tagline, ‘the wacky drama called life’. The film’s crew has been finalised, however, he is yet to make an official announcement. Meanwhile, sources revealed that Gautham Karthik and Kalidas Jayaram might play the leads while actor Rahman and Parthiban will be portraying key roles in the film.
