Kerala Culling of Dogs: Vishal Krishna to Participate In Hunger Strike

Vishal Krishna, who has supported many social causes in the past, is once again lending support to the issue of culling of dogs in Kerela. The Pandiya Naadu actor will join one-day hunger strike hosted by NGO People For Cattle In India. The event will take place on July 25 at Valluvar Kottam in Chennai.

Many dog lovers are expected to join the strike to extend their support to the cause. PFCI has planned a signature campaign as well.  The petition signed by people will be sent to the Chief Minister, Law Minister as well as the Governor of Kerala.

In April, the Sandakozhi actor also supported the education of girls through his fan clubs. He told IANS, “The only idea of bringing all my fan clubs together is to reach out to people in some sort of way. I’m interested in education of girl children. By offering girls the basic education, we’re providing them with the power to choose the lives they want to lead”. All his fan clubs were clubbed together to form ‘Akila Indhiya Puratchi Thalapathy Vishal Thalamai Narpani Iyakkam’.
