Kishore’s Next To Be Helmed By Ayyanar

National award winner, Kishore, has been roped in by director Ayyanar, a former assistant to Krishna of Nedunchalai fame, for his next film. The film titled Edhir Kol will see actress Meghna paired opposite him. Apart from Kishore and Meghna, the movie will also feature Kaali Venkat, Thennavan, Master Sivashankar and Sharmila in supporting roles.

Talking about the movie, the director said, “The movie is set in a school campus and the romance blossoms between the lead pair. At that age, children are considered immature and don’t realise that it is not true love —  but merely infatuation. They also struggle with handling the situation. I am confident that my film Edhir Kol will delve into the topic thoroughly, and will bring to light how  children who claim to have fallen in love are vulnerable to its negative effects. There’s a big message to parents, especially those with girl children.”

He further added, “The film also depicts the bond shared by father and son.” Kishore gained popularity after starring in Pandiraj’s Pasanga and Vijay Milton’s Goli Soda. He won a National Award for his brilliant performance in Pasanga.
