Kochadaiyaan: First trailer launched, film to be released on Rajinikanth’s birthday

Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiyaan’s first trailer has been launched by the makers. The trailer has been released with a tagline ‘There are heroes, there are superheroes but there is only one Rajinikanth’. It presented megastar Rajinikanth in a warrior look. The actor will be seen enacting a double role in the movie.

This is not ‘it’; another great news for the fans of Rajinikanthis thatKochadaiyaan is slated to be released on his birthday (December 12). The actor is coming back on the big screen after a gap of three years. And, with the film releasing on his birthday, it is for sure going to be a mega celebration day on December 12 in South.

Dr. Murli Manohar, co-producer of the movie has confirmed this news. He said, “We are aiming at a 12 December, 2013 release for the film, finally. It has been a long struggle. But we wanted Rajiniji's fans to get the most perfect film after a 3-year wait. I think we've achieved what we set out to do.” The film's music, composed by A. R. Rahman will also be launched soon.
